Scholastic Art Awards Exhibit at the Brooklyn Museum of Art

Congratulations to our students whose photographs received awards from the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards of 2005 - NYC Regional competition. The awards ceremony and exhibition was held at the Brooklyn Museum of Art in April of 2005.

Basquiat Master Class

The following students participated in the Basquiat Master Class at the Brooklyn Museum during the month of May, 2005. The program consisted of three classes taught by artist Robin Holder. There was a presentation of the students' projects in the Education Gallery on the evening of June 4th during the Brooklyn Museum's First Saturday celebration.

2005 Summer Arts Institute

Mark Grichevsky has been accepted into the 2005 Summer Arts Institute. The Summer Arts Institute is a competitive, screened program for students with interest and experience in the arts. Decisions were based on the applications, auditions, and interviews. Mark will participate in the film making program.
